Equipment may be returned to The A Drive only with The A Drive’s prior consent and only for defects covered by the warranties described here.  All returns of the equipment will be for repair or exchange only. Return must be accompanied with a copy of the original invoice and must be shipped in the original packing materials.  The A Drive will accept returns only if they are in a like-new, re-sellable condition.

RETURN PROCESS:          
All returns subject to in-house credit only

  • All returned product must be  at customer’s expense.
  • The RMA number assigned to defective product is effective for fifteen (15) days.
  • Return products must have the RMA number clearly marked on the outside of the box.
  • CPU warranty is thirty (30) days from the date of the invoice.  No credit issued on CPU’s or memory, replacement only.
  • All product that has been assigned an RMA number must be received by The A Drive, Inc. with complete manuals, cables, diskettes, CD’s and other applicable accessories, in original packing material and carton in like-new, re-sellable condition.  Missing accessories and improper packaging will be subject to charge. 
  • Claims for shipping or merchandise errors (i.e. receipt of incorrect product) must be reported to The A Drive, Inc. within two (2) days of receipt of merchandise.
  • Customer is responsible for the freight, COD and miscellaneous charged from the original invoice, except where The A Drive, Inc. is at fault.
  • Defective product is not available for immediate exchange.  Please allow 48 business hours for product testing by the RMA department.  
  • Product returned that is found to have no defect will be subject to a 25% restocking fee and any applicable freight charges. 

WARRANTIES
The A Drive warrants that the equipment will be free from defects in material and workmanship and operate in substantial conformance with the product literature provided by The A Drive for a period of 3 years (The A Drive desktop PCs and Servers), 1 year (The A Drive Storage and Notebooks), or 30 days (all non assembled/non-integrated parts, peripherals, upgrades - e.g. Monitors, Printers, Keyboards, Mice, etc) from the date of the invoice reflecting the purchase of such equipment. In the event that the equipment fails to meet the above warranties, The A Drive shall, at no additional cost, correct any such defect or failure of the equipment within the applicable warranty period. The A Drive will have no obligation to correct and defect found during the warranty period if; the equipment was modified or repaired by any party other than The A Drive; such defect was the result of customer’s abuse or misuse of the equipment; or such defect was the result of damage by fire, explosion, power failure or any other act of nature, nor product purchased from The A Drive that was not integrated or assembled as a component of a  Desktop PC, Notebook, Server, or Storage device. All warranty claims for such product shall be directed to the respective manufacturer.

 

TERMS AND CONDITIONS
All equipment or service shall be paid in full at time of purchase.  A minimum of $25.00 service charge in the event that any check written is dishonored for any reason.  Customer agrees to pay all collection fees, reasonable attorney fees, court costs and other expenses incurred by The A Drive, Inc. during collection procedures. All sales and other transactions will be governed by the laws of the State of California, Fresno County and any dispute arising from this business relationship will be litigated exclusively in the courts of California, Fresno County . 

Shipment and Delivery of Goods:

 

The customer also has the option to select UPS Next Day Air, UPS Next Day Air Saver, UPS Second Day Air, and UPS 3 Day Select Ground Service. Freight charges are determined by The A Drive at the point of sale.


The following pertains to non-paletized product shipments from The A Drive:

  • All shipments are TAD:BC once they leave The A Drive's shop in Fresno  and are in transit to the customer.
  • Delivery map (above) is subject to change and is entirely dependent upon the carrier (UPS).
  • Delivery time is subject to product availability.
  • If product ordered is not available in The A Drive's shop in Fresno, The A Drive reserves the right to drop ship goods and services to customers via distribution warehouses located across the country. The A Drive will do everything possible to select a warehouse within the same delivery zone as The A Drive's shop in Fresno. In the event a shipment is delayed or ships from a warehouse outside the the shop in Fresno delivery zone, a The A Drive sales representative will contact the customer with an estimated delivery time or options to upgrade their service.
  • If product ordered is not available in The A Drive shop in Fresno, nor available in distribution warehouses located across the United States (backordered), The A Drive will adhere to the mail order laws set forth by the federal government. The customer will be notified via phone or electronic mail (email) if a product remains on backorder, and what the estimated delivery date is at least once every 30 days from the date of sale.
  • Products considered "special order" (products not carried by The A Drive) are subject to extended delivery times whereby the estimated delivery schedule (map above) is not applicable.
  • For shipments to MN, WI, IL, IA, NE, ND, SD, The A Drive reserves the right to use FedEx Delivery (http://www.fedex.com) service in place of UPS unless the customer specifically states that UPS is the required method of shipment.

Shipment and Delivery of Paletized Goods:
In the event the product purchased is a Server or other large package, The A Drive's policy states that the product must be shipped on a palet. In the event the product is paletized, transit and delivery times may differ/change from the map above. The A Drive reserves the right to use the trucking service of their choice to deliver paletized product(s). The A Drive also, reserves the right to allow the customer to select their own trucking service. In the event the customer selects the trucking service, the customer will be required to provide account information for such service and provide pickup from The A Drive.

3rd Party Shipping
The A Drive will allow customers to select 3rd Party billing for shipment of product ordered. For 3rd Party Billing, the customer is required to provide the carrier and the account number for that carrier at the point of purchase.
